When walking
into a shop, store, garden centre or buying a lawnmower online you
are looking for the same thing, the best lawnmower to do the job and
the best buy lawnmower.
Gardeners
have their own opinions and favourites when it comes to the best lawn
mowers. Thankfully there are so many variations of lawnmower available
to buy and much depends upon the size of your lawn, paddock or field
as to which is the best buy lawnmower for you.
Lawn tractors
are at the top end, some refer to them as garden tractors, but whichever
name you prefer these are the mowers to buy if you have a very large
area to cut and have the budget to go with it. Fortunately there are
reasonable priced riding lawn mowers on sale.
At the other
end there are push mowers and there is no doubt that good push lawnmowers
can produce a very good lawn finish. A push lawnmower petrol model
makes life much easier, driving the cutting blades while the operator
provides manpower to cover the lawn area. Electric lawn mowers of course
serve the same purpose and the only restriction is the distance your
lawn is from a safe power source. If you do have that restriction and
do not like a petrol mower, take a look at cordless lawn mowers.
When looking
to buy a petrol lawnmower the choice of petrol mower models is wide
and varied. A petrol lawn mower can be a cylinder mower but if a petrol
cylinder lawn mower is not your preferred way to mow the lawn there
are rotary lawnmowers that are petrol driven. A petrol rotary lawnmower
will not give the lined finish of a petrol roller lawnmower but nevertheless
will produce a very pleasing finish to your lawn.
Commercial
mowers have to either maintain very large areas or produce a very fine
finish, such as that required for a bowling green or tennis court.
For the latter consider a top quality cylinder petrol lawnmower that
can have a seat attached to become a riding lawnmower.
