Garden vacs and blowers have certainly made leaf gathering a lot easier.
Do you need a leaf blower, leaf vacuum or a blower vacuum?
It really is a matter of personal preference. For large garden areas a leaf blower can be the better option, blowing leaves into large piles for gathering to dispose of or to stack to make leaf mould.
A leaf vacuum on the other hand will also shred the leaves and can be used as a general garden vacuum. Do remember that the leaves gathered become heavy in the bag supported by your shoulder especially when wet.
The other question is whether to buy a petrol leaf blower or electric. Obviously with an electric blower you do not have to think about buying petrol and oil but the cable can prove an inconvenience in larger gardens and in this situation a petrol blower is probably the better option.
