Spiraea

SpiraeaSpiraea are deciduous generally disease and pest free shrubs that are easy to grow in most moist soils and are tolerant of all but the most extreme conditions.

These shrubs with simple leaves and short racemes of small, 5-petalled white or pink flowers in spring or summer are suitable for mixed borders.

Foliage is Grey/Silver and Green

If your Spiraea becomes overgrown renovate by cutting back hard immediately after flowering.

Propagate by softwood cuttings in summer.

Ultimate Height and spread after ten to twenty years: 1.5m
