Photinia x fraseri Red Robin

Photinia Red RobinPhotinia is a genus of Asian and North American shrubs grown specifically for their colourful young foliage.

Red Robin is the variety that I have in my garden and this choice eye catching shrub has glossy dark green adult foliage and variable red tinted young leaves, especially as they just unfold.

A hardy shrub that should be planted in a sunny or partially shaded position in moist but well-drained soil.

Flowering period: April to May

The Royal Horticultural Society has given its prestigious Award of Garden Merit(AGM) to this plant.

Also known as the Christmas berry

Height: 400cm

Spread: 400cm
